Tuesday was the Thirteenth of June

Breakfast:
yogurt with banana, blueberries, and locally produced honey
2.5 cups coffee
1 tumbler OJ

Lunch:
PB&J -- chunky, raspberry, and cracked wheat
1 pink whatever apple.

Dinner:
beets sauteed in whole cumin and mustard seeds
daal with tomato
rice
yogurt

Dessert:
a pile of cherries and two turkish figs.

Are you getting into the buy local movement? If so, I think that's great. If not, whatevs, I live next to a farmers' market and still get all my food at Ralph's.

I think conceptually it's a good idea, but it's a hassle to find a farmers' market to go to near me, and at this time of year the selection isn't going to be too broad.

That said, I did get this honey from a farmers' market. I also read in the NYTimes today a pretty good article about fancy honeys that I found intriguing though a bit poncey and most likely overstated, since it is the Times. It's
