Sunday the Thirtieth of July and Monday the Thirty-First of July

Breakfast:
banana & plain yogurt, with local honey

Lunch:
risotto leftover from Friday
pasta leftover from Thursday
3 seed bread from Prantl's

At the Pirate's game:
1 large Penn Pilsner
roasted peanuts

Dinner:
We attempted to roast a chicken, but the power went out, rendering the temperature regulation in the oven useless. This hurled me into a black mood.
at home:
2 gin martinis
1 glass of red wine
almonds
bread

2 Red Hook ESBs at William Penn Tavern
6 buffalo wings
1 cheesesteak sandwich

Monday:
breakfast at Pamela's:
breakfast special -- hotcakes, two eggs overeasy, and sausage; 3 cups coffee

later, at my apartment:
coffee from the island of St Helena

1 "like it" sized Lotta Caramel Latte milkshake from Coldstone Creamery, consumed while waiting for Woody Allen's not entirely charmless film Scoop to begin.

at Harris Grille:
1 Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA
3 baby burgers, with cheddar cheese

at home:
almonds
Spanish red wine
leftover Indian food (eggplant curry and daal) from Saturday night, with fresh rice
Castle Rock pinot noir

bit later:
homemade white bread with butter.
This was pretty good, but I used all-purpose flour instead of bread flour. Alas, this made the end product a bit more cakey, and the crust was sort of like a cracker than a bread crust. Nonetheless, I was proud.
strawberry rhubarb pie from Prantl's, with cream.

the St. Helena coffee was a gift from James, and he got it at Betty's Tea Shop in Harrogate.
