Classico Italian Sausage sauce

Don't eat Classico Italian Sausage With Peppers and Onions sauce. I'm pretty sure it gave me a lingering stomach discomfort.

Believe it - I've been making my own sauce. Here's how: chop a green bell pepper, an onion, and three cloves garlic. sautee in 1/4 cup dry white wine and a tablespoon of olive oil. add 1 28oz. can crushed tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Let simmer maybe 7 minutes or so. Add a sausage if you're feeling sexy.
