Scottish brunch!
Today I went to brunch at Tam O'Shanter. Although a bit overpriced (it's in the Lawry's family) I enjoy this place thoroughly. It's 84 years old and Scottish-themed. The thing to get is roast beef or prime rib. Let's see what I got!
Brunch
1 Irish coffee
6 glasses champagne (gratis, with brunch. excellent job refilling by our server, an adorable young woman dressed, like all Tam personnel, in full tartan)
French toast with strawberries, maple syrup
2 sausage links
2 strips bacon
Shortly thereafter, I went to Trader Joe's. Here's what I got. SPOLER ALERT: Many of these are the foods I will report in coming weeks.
1 bottle, Jameson Irish Whiskey
6 pack, Hansen's creamy root beer soda
6 pack, Hansen's club soda (minicans)
1 package, Chicken Sausage ravioli
1 La Brea bakery baguette
1 jar, Trader Joe's organic tomato basil marinara
1 box, Trader Joe's Turkey Stromboli
1 box, Trader Joe's Chicken Masala dinner
1 bottle, Black Mountain Vineyard chardonnay
1 bottle, Contadion Pinot Grigio
