Health Advice
I throw myself upon the wisdom of my fellow foodreporters. I bought a new jar of Horlick's at the C-Town - British malt mix for your milk, it has a bunch of vitamins, and makes for a fun nighttime ritual. More info here. Anyways, I had not opened it yet, and the protective seal under the cap ("do not use if seal is punctured" is more or less what it says) was punctured. Should I dismiss this as an unfortunate accident? Or should I fall on the side of caution, and write this jar off as a loss? Remember, there's no realistic way for the seal to have been punctured without someone having taken the lid off, so either this happened at the factory, or some degree of foul play was involved. Please help!

Easy solution: after you add this stuff, microwave your milk for one minute (let it cool after). This will kill any bacteria. Maybe not anthrax though.
I'm worried mainly about the thrax. This stuff is an off-white powder, and it's packaged internationally to boot. Although your idea has some appeal simply for producing a delicious toasty mug of Horlicks to enjoy before beddy-bye.
Perhaps offer some to a dog to which you are indifferent?
I am afraid there is no such dog, sir. Maybe a small dose of microwaved anthrax in a frothy hot brew of vitamins and deliciousness is the ideal thrax vaccine? "Thraccine"? Is that the right word? I'll ask Murray's dad next time I see him.
