ZachKay and I once had a hippie-vegan friend (SC will remember him as Mike Flynn) who used to do things like mixing oats and protein whey and bulghur wheat and lentils and soy milk and such in a bowl and then demand that we try his perfect vegan substitute for chocolate chip cookie dough.

I think "croquette" would be the simplest solution and a fitting one. Please note, too, the absence of corn from the recipe. Regardless of the effect of the name, the croquettes were totally delicious.

Is it possible to have a depoliticized vegetarianism? Can the apolitical vegetarian avoid being pulled back into the fray by the rages of the majority omnivority? Is the personal the political? Fish boast of fishing and the center cannot hold etc etc etc etc etc etc.
