In the Garage, I chanced to overhear a single sentence that reminded me of the kind of discourse Harvard students impose on one another:
"I'll give you another example: ADOLF HITLER."
Also, I don't know if kids are richer now, but everyone at the Lampoon seems to eat out all the time. Of 3 people I polled, only 1 had bothered to eat dinner in the dining hall.
How was DoH? Was it awesome? Did the Brattle execute its signature move of having a grainy print that they pulled out someone's basement/garage/butt?
This is what you consider food reporting Conrad?
In Days of Heaven, people eat:
a salad with HUGE carrots
wheat
brown-looking slop (more of this gets thrown away than eaten)
Conrad Beat:
This is what I'm going to guess Conrad ate in Japan (because I don't know because he won't write about it on the Internet):
A big old dick
Probably some poop too
Maybe Conrad was doing some Japanese reporting for http://davidwainfoodreporter.blogspot.com/?
Also at the Lampoon club the kids got into a spat about Rachel Ray. A particular point for the Ray-haters is that she cutely insists a quesadilla is "just a Mexican grilled cheese!"
calling a quesidilla a mexian grilled cheese doesn't seem like that crazy of a claim.
Also, why are they eating out all the time? Don't they realize the dining hall is the most amazing thing about college except for maybe that other people clean the toilets?
There are a lot of things I'm angry about that Vali said.
I think it's pretty clear that once we started talking about the staff of a certain college humor magazine, we all started getting pretty angry at each other.
