The Horrible Truth!

The Subway near my new office sucks!

They always mangle the bread. They use a tiny little knife to cut it, and I'm not even sure that it's a bread knife. They can't cut the bread in halves well, they always flatten the bread when they're cutting a loaf into a 6" piece. They can't put the ingredients on right - I get vegetables spilling out of the end, I got a meatball marinara with two meatballs stuck squeezed in together on one end crosswise rather than lengthwise, and so consequently I had a big chunk of meatball-less bread. Sometimes the ingredients are all slid over to the bottom or top half of the roll, and so the bread closes in an awkward extruded "J" shape that is unpleasant and difficult to eat. They don't seem to care about what they're doing, and it shows with their lousy, lackluster sandwiches.

Subway near my new office, boo to you!

these are all fairly common problems at Subway. I sometimes cut my meatballs in half, to spread them out a bit. But smushing the bread, in this day and age, is unforgiveable.

I've seen two different sandwich artists there, and they're both really irresponsible with the bread. Both of our other offices are convenient to two different Subways, none of which seem to have these problems! But here we're stuck with one, and it stinks!
