Weekend in Review, Part 1 (3.17.06)

Some peking duck dumplings with aloe vera dipping sauce -- an utter disapointment
Smoked eel burger with beet chips, cucumber-seaweed salad, tonkatsu sauce -- I don't know how I came to order this thing, which turned out to be pretty decent. I guess it is because it came with beet chips and the waitress said it was good. Perhaps it was also because this menu is completely incomprehensible. Sure, I can guess what sorts of dishes are under the name "Noodaloids," but what is a "boloray" or "g" or "magnatar?" (Eel burger is a boloray). This restaurant also apparently exists as a bizarre and unsuccessful way to advocate the usage of hemp for everything.

This was place was crazy.
