Banana

'wichcraft
Grilled Fontina, black trumpet mushrooms, white truffle fondue on pullman white bread
Bite of brother Mikey's roasted turkey, avocado, bacon & onion relish on ciabatta roll

I was happy to try this place once, but it really is a rip-off. The sandwiches are all around $9, and not huge. They are quite tasty though. Anyway, I prefer Darwins.

Pax Gourmet
Chocolate chip cookie -- And thus concluded a very fun and indulgent visit by brother Mikey.

Chicken with pesto
Pesto bruschetta -- I had almost all of the ingredients for pesto left over from my meal on saturday, but no food processor. So, I toasted the pine nuts and crushed them with a glass and then chopped the basil and garlic and grated the parmesan on the tiny holes. It wasn't as smooth as if I had used a food processor, but frankly, it tasted just as good. The green garlic was nice and made the pesto extra green. Oh, for the bruschetta I just roasted leftover peasant bread with extra virgin in the oven for bit, spooned some pesto over it, put it back in for a minute, put some thick slices of tomato on top, a tiny bit more oil and gave it another minute.

Yeah, 'wichcraft was kind of a rip. My sandwich was gross oily. From what I could tell, Sze-Wan's was as well. Also, there were too many black olives in my sandwich, which was really messy, and the olives weren't even well distributed. I'm eating a sandwich right now with a tapenade, and it's a far more appropriate quantity and distribution of black olive, a real pleasure. 'wichcraft? More like 'suchcrap.

I'll confirm Dubs' anti-assist, but in the process I have learned that food processing isn't necessary and in fact requires more cleaning. I wonder if true Italians would chastise me for not finding a mortar and pestle, but I just can't imagine this would make any huge difference in taste.
